Former FBI counter-terrorism and counter-drone specialist is appointed to Dedrone’s Advisory Board

Rob D'Amico, a former FBI counter-terrorism and counter-drone has joined the Dedrone Advisory Board.

D'Amico, an expert in intelligence and law enforcement with 35 years of government experience from the Marines and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), where he was most recently Chief of the FBI's Counter Uncrewed (cUAS) Unit, played a key role in fighting terrorism.

D'Amico will provide guidance to as it broadens its CUAS solution for global law enforcement and counterterrorism.

“I have worked with Dedrone in various capacities over the last few years and am excited to officially join the company's Advisory Board as it gears up for significant growth in the wake of burgeoning demand for airspace security,” said D'Amico.

“While counter intelligence agencies and law enforcement have long recognized the need to protect our airspace, drone threats are escalating at such a pace that organizations, events, prisons and more are making 3D security part of their strategic safety plan. Dedrone is well positioned to lead the market, and I'm eager to provide my experience and expertise to the team.”

After a distinguished career at the highest levels of federal law enforcement, Rob D'Amico most recently held the position of Chief Security Officer for the entertainment and horse racing firm 1/ST. D'Amico had previously held the position of Chief of the Counter-Drone Unit at the FBI.

In addition, he has held positions in the FBI, such as the position of Attaché to the US Embassy in Kabul and the position of supervising all FBI activities in . D'Amico has been a member of some of the ' most high-profile and sensitive investigations and operations in various parts of the globe.

D'Amico is a highly respected member of the law enforcement and intelligence community, and he has received the highest awards for outstanding performance that can be bestowed by both the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Royal Canadian Mounted .
