Air 3 Set to Turbocharge DJI’s Drone Dominance

The world of drone enthusiasts got a sneak peek of the DJI Air 3, thanks to a tweet from DealsDrone that showcased an up-close image of the yet-to-launch drone’s dual camera setup.

The DJI Air 3 will come equipped with a 24mm equivalent wide-angle lens featuring an aperture of F1.7 and a 70mm equivalent telelens with an aperture of F2.8.

While the precise sensor size of each camera remains under wraps, this revelation sparks excitement in drone photography enthusiasts.

In addition, DJI leaker Jasper Ellens added another layer to the anticipation, hinting that an upgraded battery charger might accompany the DJI Air 3 in the Fly More Combo. This advanced charger can juice up multiple batteries at once, rendering third-party charging gear redundant.

There’s more from Ellens, who further speculates that the Air 3 will feature a completely new O4 transmission system. The two new antennas on the DJI RC 2 could be an indication of the new system.

If this is indeed the case, having O4 on the DJI Air 3 could mean that we can look forward to a higher quality video transmission signal with possibly an extended range, as well as higher bitrates and reduced latency.
