Eyes up, City! The skyline will dance with lights in an unmissable spectacle, and it’s all for a noble cause.

This weekend, Projecting Change, a global collective, is set to launch 1,000 drones over the East River. This dazzling drone show is not just for entertainment—it’s to initiate Climate Week with a bang.

This awe-inspiring sight can be caught post-sunset, near the iconic UN building. Just ensure you’re on the right side of the river, and stay updated through social media channels like X, formerly Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram, for any tweaks to the schedule.

So, what’s the motivation behind this aerial brilliance? In the words of Projecting Change, the drone show displays aim to “inspire, educate, unify, and activate” people about the climate crisis and underscore key environmental campaigns. This event is timed perfectly with the 78th United Nations General Assembly, the Climate Ambition Summit, and the SDG Summit. The overarching goal? To deliver “a strong message to world leaders.”

Christopher Lejeune, the CEO of Projecting Change, passionately believes in the transformative power of art.

He reportedly stated, “Art has the power to shift cultures. We urgently need to drive change at scale—to redesign our human systems to be in alignment with nature, and respect all life. Our children’s survival and all future generations of life on Earth depend on it.”

But there’s a tech twist. Post-show, attendees can scan a sky-projected QR code. This leads them to the Drone Show’s campaigns and offers entry to a one-of-a-kind contest by TMRW.

Participants can pitch innovative ideas promoting sustainability. And, thanks to TMRW’s advanced AI, you might just see a visual rendition of your sustainable dream!

Don’t miss out—New York’s skyline is about to tell a powerful story.
