DJI just tweeted the following teaser message, “Mini to the Max” revealing part of a new product that clearly resembles the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone that we already expected to be released on September 25th.

In the teaser, DJI continues to say that they will offer ‘free express shipping’ on their upcoming new product which is set to be released on September 25 at 9 AM Eastern Time.

The teaser released by DJI is a short video clip that lasts only a few seconds. It shows a ray of light over what we believe to be the DJI Mini 4 Pro drone. The shot from 3/4 at the rear shows one of the backward-facing obstacle avoidance sensors.

Based on leaked photos, the DJI Mini 4 Pro will have omnidirectional obstacle avoidance capabilities with four wide-angle sensors on the top and additional sensors on the bottom.

Furthermore, the DJI slogan ‘Mini to the Max’ indicates that we can expect to see maximum capabilities from DJI newest mini drone. Introducing omnidirectional obstacle avoidance on a drone that weighs less than 250 g is already groundbreaking.

However, we doubt that the Chinese drone maker will stop there. We also expect improved video transmission in the form of OcuSync 4, optimized video and image quality with better colors and dynamic range.

Be sure to mark your calendar for September 25, 2023, at 9 AM Eastern time for what seems to be the official release date of the DJI Mini 4 Pro mini-drone.
