DJI Rolls Out Significant Dock Firmware Update with Enhanced Features

The leading name in , DJI, has once again taken a step forward. As of September 18, 2023, DJI has unveiled the latest DJI Dock Firmware Update, offering a range of critical features and optimizations for enterprise users.

This fresh update, labeled as V01.05.0902 for the DJI Dock, promises to augment user experience while enhancing safety and flexibility in operations. Notably, the Aircraft Firmware has been updated to V07.01.0026, and many other firmware updates have also been introduced, such as for the Intelligent Flight Battery, Remote Controller, and more.

New Additions and Optimizations

  1. Enhancements:
  • RTH has seen an upgrade to Advanced RTH.
  • A refined battery safety strategy has been introduced. Notably, “The dock cannot perform Continuous or Timed tasks if the battery cycle count exceeds 500 cycles. Immediate tasks and FlyTo tasks will not be affected.”
  • There's now an ability to halt the flight route task after triggering the emergency stop, especially when prepping for the flight route task.
  • Improvements in the air conditioning system aim to reduce idle fan noise.
  1. Features in DJI FlightHub 2:
  • Aircraft can now bypass GEO Zones during specific tasks.
  • “When editing the waypoints, the waypoint can be marked as a no-return point… The aircraft will fly along the flight route to exit the no-return area before performing RTH or Resume Flight from Breakpoint.”
  • has been incorporated for better flight safety.
  • Enhanced flexibility with the addition of custom flight areas and GEO Zones management.
  • New features allow better control of PSDK payloads and enhanced visual aids in the livestream view.
  • Warnings have been optimized for emergencies such as landing anomalies.

  • New warnings for dock configuration in GEO zones.
  • Support for site selection with the Enterprise Series aircraft.
  • Added feature to monitor the dock's network connection.
