High-Tech Apprehension

In a remarkable use of technology, Scottsdale Police swiftly apprehended a burglary suspect at the American Fine Art gallery, thanks to a police drone.

The Incident

Responding to a 5:50 AM call on January 7, officers reportedly arrived at the gallery on North Scottsdale Road. An employee had reported suspicious noises inside the premise. Police established a perimeter and spotted a man on the roof.

Drone-Assisted Capture

Using a drone, police successfully contained the suspect to the roof. He was apprehended without any complications by officers and a K9 unit. Evidence of the burglary, found on the roof, was also recovered.

Suspect’s Fate

Harpeet Singh, 32, the accused, faces charges and will be booked into Maricopa County Jail in Arizona.
