The Disappearance
Ulysse vanished on December 20 during a walk in Houghton Conquest. Despite thorough searches, he remained missing for 12 days, according to the BBC.

Drone to Home, a Nottinghamshire-based charity, deployed a thermal drone and found Ulysse in less than two hours near Haynes. He was entangled in a hedgerow, unable to move due to his retractable lead.
The Happy Reunion
Sam Boyle, Ulysse’s owner, was overjoyed upon receiving the call about her dog’s location. Ulysse, who lost significant weight and survived on sticks and twigs, is now recovering at home.

Boyle, moved by the successful operation, is fundraising to purchase another drone for Drone to Home, highlighting the crucial role of such technology in finding missing pets.
