A Glimpse into the Future
The filings for the DJI RS 4 and DJI RS 4 Pro were spotted at the FCC, accompanied by new accessories including the Focus Pro Grip, Focus Pro Motor, and Focus Pro Hand Unit, indicating a comprehensive upgrade to DJI’s gimbal ecosystem.
Unique FCC codes, distinct from DJI’s drone products, identify the RS 4 (2ANDR-P14C23) and the RS 4 Pro (2ANDR-P04P23) under DJI Osmo Technology, highlighting their specialized nature.
Both models maintain the battery capacities of their predecessors, with the RS 4 featuring a 3000mAh 21.6Wh battery and the RS 4 Pro a 1950mAh 30.03Wh battery. This consistency suggests a commitment to the trusted performance and reliability characteristic of DJI’s gimbals.
Imminent Release and What It Means for Users
Historically, when DJI products appear on FCC listings, it typically precedes their market release by approximately one to two months. This timing is corroborated by a confidentiality request from DJI, hinting at an official release around August 31, 2024. However, DJI has yet to announce an exact date for the gimbals’ launch.
The anticipation for the DJI RS 4 and RS 4 Pro underscores the ongoing demand for advanced, high-quality filmmaking tools. These gimbals are expected to set new standards in stabilization technology, offering creators unparalleled precision and flexibility in capturing their visions.
