New Facility and Community Impact

UXV Technologies, a company specializing in designing, developing, and manufacturing drones and robotics for various business and government clients, has chosen Johnstown, Pennsylvania, for its new production facility. The grand opening, held on Thursday, highlighted the company’s commitment to growth and community involvement.

CEO Steven Friberg expressed his enthusiasm for the new location, emphasizing the positive aspects of Johnstown. He cited the town’s strong community ties and supportive environment as key factors in the decision.

“Relations, commitment, engagement, the loving community. I think that’s one of the key things that Johnstown really offers when you are a company who likes to be in space where they can feel comfortable growing and also actually have a community that actually would like to be a part of the mission,” Friberg stated.

Job Creation and Economic Boost

The opening of UXV Technologies’ new facility is set to create 15 new jobs in Cambria County, providing a significant boost to the local economy. This expansion not only highlights the company’s growth but also its commitment to contributing to the local community.

Why Johnstown?

Johnstown offers a unique blend of community support and business-friendly environment that makes it an ideal location for UXV Technologies. The area’s willingness to engage with and support new businesses played a crucial role in the company’s decision to set up its first US factory here.
