Drone Technology Takes Center Stage at IACP 2024 in Boston
Today, I attended the IACP (International Association of Chiefs of Police) 2024 conference in Boston, invited by Brinc Drones. I was genuinely surprised by the significant presence of drone companies at the event.
Diverse Drone Representation
The list of drone or drone-related companies I observed included:

This extensive lineup showcased the breadth of drone technology available to law enforcement and the fast growing Drone as First Responders (DFR) programs.
Conference Overview
The IACP conference, running from October 19-22 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, features over 600 exhibitors. While diverse in scope, the drone industry’s representation was particularly notable.
Technological Convergence
I found the presence of major telecommunications companies like Verizon and T-Mobile alongside drone manufacturers intriguing. This combination suggests potential advancements in connected drone systems and real-time data transmission for police operations.
