Conference Overview

The IACP conference, running from October 19-22 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, features over 600 exhibitors. While diverse in scope, the drone industry’s representation was particularly notable.

Technological Convergence

DroneXL’s Take

My experience at IACP 2024 underscored the rapid progress in drone technology for first responders. As someone who regularly covers this field, seeing such a concentrated display of drone companies was enlightening.

Our recent reporting at DroneXL has highlighted the increasing adoption of drones in emergency response and law enforcement. This conference seems to mark a turning point, indicating that drone technology is moving beyond early adoption and becoming a mainstream tool in policing.

I plan to share more detailed insights from the conference in the coming days. In the meantime, I’m interested in your perspective on this growing integration of drone technology in law enforcement. Please share your thoughts in the comments section below.
