New leaked schematics and renderings show what appears to be DJI’s upcoming Osmo 360 action camera, as reported by Photo Rumors and HakaSushi.

The dual-lens camera features a compact form factor with lenses on both the front and back, enabling full 360-degree capture. Based on visualization by @HakaSushi and official technical drawings, the device includes a front-facing display screen and simple control interface with what appears to be power and quick settings buttons.

Technical Specifications

According to regulatory filings, the camera carries model number OQ001 and FCC ID 2ANDR-OQ0012024. The device, officially named “DJI Osmo 360,” is manufactured by SZ DJI Osmo Technology Co., Ltd. The technical drawings reveal precise dimensions and antenna placements, suggesting careful attention to wireless connectivity design.

Regulatory Timeline

The documentation shows planned testing dates of September 1-6, 2024, with an issue date of September 7, 2024. This timeline hints at a potential late 2024 release window for the new action camera. We expect this camera to be released ahead of the Holiday Shopping Season.
