Amazon Drone Deals: DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo with DJI RC2 now for $1,099!

A new leaked video appears to show DJI’s upcoming Mavic 4 drone being tested inside the company’s building, according to posts shared by Jasper Ellens and Igor Bogdanov on X.

The Controversial Leak

The video, which appears to have been captured by flying a DJI drone around DJI’s building, shows what looks like a Mavic 4 and M4 Pro being tested inside. This unorthodox method of obtaining product information has sparked debate within the drone community.

“This is the most obvious example of DJI planting its own leaks as I’ve ever seen,” posted Gabe Shakour, questioning the authenticity of the leak. “You’re telling me someone flew a drone around the DJI building long enough to look in every window until they found the one that had a Mavic 4 in it?”

Industry Response

Jasper Ellens, a known DJI leaker, suggested that previous leaks like “boxes at bestbuy and clear pics from early Chinese users” were more likely examples of planted information. He added cryptically that understanding the source of leaks reveals that “they despice [sic] DJI.”

DroneXL’s Take

From a DJI rumors perspective, this incident highlights the intense interest and speculation surrounding new DJI products. While the method of obtaining this footage raises ethical questions, it demonstrates the challenging balance between corporate secrecy and public interest in upcoming drone technology.
