Two DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual drones helped put out Chernobyl wildfire
On April 4th, a massive wildfire broke out in the forests around the Chernobyl exclusion zone, almost exactly 34 years after the meltdown of reactor four in April 1986. A fleet of 10 unmanned aircraft including two DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual drones were deployed to help fight the wildfires. Insights gained from thermal drone imagery helped firefighters extinguish the fire that posed a threat to local communities.

A Search and Rescue drone was used to find stranded hikers in the dark in Weber Country, Utah. The pair had wondered off-trail by accident and became stranded on steep cliff last Friday. When they realized that it had become to dangerous to try and find the trail back as the evening set in, the couple decided to call for help.

Calvert County Sheriff’s Office puts DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise drones to fight Coronavirus
In Maryland, the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office puts DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise drones to use during the Coronavirus outbreak. Calvert County Sheriff’s office is not new to the use of drones. Their drone program is not even one year old, but during that time they have flown over 560 separate drone missions to locate missing persons, to map crash and crime scenes and to provide watch at special events.
DJI commits 100 drones to US Disaster Relief Program to fight COVID-19
DJI’s Senior Director of Public Safety Integration, Romeo Durscher writes in a post that the Chinese drone maker has already committed 100 drones to 40 police, fire and public safety organizations in 21 states as part of the US Disaster Relief Program to help fight COVID-19.
