Over the last week or so, there were a number of different firmware versions for DJI’s latest drone floating around. Follow these tips from Aldryn on his Flytpath YouTube channel to troubleshoot your Mavic Air 2 firmware update.

Various reviewers on YouTube as well as myself were having some issues while updating their DJI Mavic Air 2 drone to the latest firmware update. I ended up deleting the DJI Fly app from my iPhone and reinstalling it and that did the trick.

Aldryn just posted this video on his Flytpath YouTube channel explaining how to troubleshoot the firmware update process for the Mavic Air 2 and he also points out to delete the DJI Fly app and reinstalling it before updating the firmware on your drone.
Later on in the video, he also explains how to perform the update using the DJI Assistant app on your Mac or PC. He recommends to use a WiFi connection to speed up the process as the files that need to be downloaded can be quite large. 178MB in this case.
