Mysterious lights along I-75 are Firefly drone show test flights
Along I-75 near Holly, Michigan, several people have witnessed mysterious lights in the sky. These lights are not from alien spaceships as some might have believed. Instead, these are test drone show test flights from a local company called Firefly Drone Shows.

The mysterious lights that show up in the dark night skies are drones from Metro Detroit-based Firefly Drone Shows. The company is one out of three that have been approved by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) in the country to perform drone light shows for entertainment.
“The show itself spans about 500 to 600 feet across the sky. It's absolutely massive. People from miles away can see this display,” said Ryan Sigmon with Firefly Drone Shows in this video from Local 4.
