On Sunday, first responders found the body of a 20-year-old man who was reported missing on Saturday. The aerial search included drones and helicopters.
Missing man found dead in Mansfield after aerial search with drones
The 20-year-old, Joseph Rushwin from Mansfield, New York was reported missing from the Barse Road area to authorities around 6:00 p.m. Saturday.
7 ABC WKBW Buffalo reports that according to the Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office, he was go-karting, and when he didn’t return, his family called to report him missing.
Local fire departments, New York State Police, New York State Forest Rangers, and other agencies all performed an extensive search for the missing man, including using drones, and helicopters according to deputies.
The next day first responders, after having conducted an aerial search that included drones and helicopters, spotted tire tracks leading into a nearby pond. His body was discovered soon after.
