This stunning drone video was voted best showreel of 2020
It is always nice to see what professional drone operators are pulling out of their hats when making aerial shots. Take the German company Skynamic, for example. Their 2020 stunning drone video recently won awards at the virtual sixth edition of the New York City Drone Film Festival (NYCDFF), in the “Showreel” category.

Flown in countless countries
It is not without reason that Skynamic was asked to record a commercial for Game of Thrones (see video below as well) in the past. The company has several heavy-lift cinema drones that easily take the most massive cameras of Red and Alexi into the air, and the company the necessary permits in various Countries to fly such drones. The company also regularly uses CineWhoops. Even an RC camera buggy is pulled out of the closet for dynamic ground shots.
Skynamic works for clients all over the world. Their drone demo 2020 features footage shot in numerous countries, namely Morocco, Montenegro, Slovenia, Tanzania, France, Iceland, Spain, Portugal, Poland, Bolivia, Ibiza, Vietnam, Romania, Sweden, Switzerland, Austria, Dubai, Finland, Denmark, Norway, United States, United Kingdom, Dominican Republic, and Mexico.
Best showreel
The video was awarded the best entry in the “Showreel” category at the latest edition of the NYCDFF. This festival was recently held for the sixth time. Unfortunately, due to the coronavirus, the festival could not take place in physical form, but that doesn't make the honor any less in our opinion.
