Scientists set up “uncrackable” quantum connection between two drones – A team of scientists at Nanjing University in China has succeeded in realizing a quantum connection between two hovering drones. A distance of one kilometer was bridged. Thanks to the underlying principle of particle entanglement, the connection is in theory uncrackable and information can be transferred faster than light.
Google wants to experiment with a fire-extinguishing drone – Tech giant Google wants to experiment with a fire-extinguishing drone using a spray unmanned aircraft. This is evident from an application for an exemption that Google parent company Alphabet has submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The drone in question was developed for agricultural applications, such as spraying pesticides, but may also serve as an extinguishing drone.
Goose hunting with drones results in crash with DJI Mavic – Check out this somewhat dramatic video in which you can see how someone uses a DJI Mavic drone to go goose hunting in Sweden. The maker of the video claims that the goose won and flew away after crashing into the drone. Miraculously, the drone survived the crash as well and was able to limp back home.
