DJI Mavic Mini or Mini 2 safe for Operations over People?

Join Kenji and Vic as they talk about the DJI Mavic Mini and Mini 2 and see if these drones meet the criteria of Category 1 Operations Over People (OOP).

We have special guests Jakee Stoltz from 107waivers.com, as well as Greg Reverdiau from Pilot Institute. They have both performed tests to see if the Mavic Mini or Mini 2 can legally (& more importantly, safely) fly over people according to Category 1 of the FAA’s new operations over people rules. They came to different conclusions.

Nothing in this video should be construed as legal advice. Please do your own testing and make the decision accordingly. Remember, as the Remote Pilot In Command, you are responsible for all aspects of any drone flight. So every good thing, and bad thing that might happen is your responsibility.
