DJI Air 2S versus DJI Mavic 2 Pro comparison

After Philip Bloom's review of the DJI Air 2S, we now have a comparison of the DJI Air 2S versus the DJI Mavic 2 Pro from Billy Kyle.

In the description of the video, Billy says:

“The DJI Air 2S and DJI Mavic 2 Pro are almost exactly the same drone, except I prefer to fly the newer Air 2S on the daily.”

Billy favors the batteries, the gimbal, and the airframe of the DJI Air 2S over the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. He also prefers the OcuSync 3.0 or O3 video transmission system of the DJI Air 2S over the OcuSync 2.0 that comes with the Mavic 2 Pro. It is not so much about the increased range that O3 provides but the signal strength and interference resistance.

The DJI Air 2S has a higher top speed with all sensors turned on of 33 mph versus 30 mph from the Mavic 2 Pro.

Of course, the DJI Mavic 2 Pro offers additional side obstacle avoidance sensors, a variable aperture, color profile, the , old design remote controller, better wind resistance, and dual IMU and compass sensors.

The DJI Air 2S offers OcuSync 3.0, , MasterShots, 150 Mbps video recording, APAS 4.0, , modern remote controller, lower prop noise, wider field-of-view lens, and this drone is less expensive.

At the end of the day, Billy picks the DJI Air 2S because of its OcuSync 3.0 video transmission system.
