DJI Action 2 camera launched as alternative to GoPro Hero 10 and Insta360 cameras

This morning, DJI launched the DJI Action 2 camera to compete with the GoPro Hero 10 and Insta360 cameras. The DJI Action 2 is a magnetic, modular camera that can shoot 4K at 120fps with a super wide angle of 155-degrees. It keeps the horizon steady and is waterproof up to about 30 feet. You can order the DJI Action 2 at the DJI online store for $399.

The DJI Action 2 camera records 4K video at 120fps at a maximum aperture of 2.8 on a 1/1.7″ sensor. The action camera has a super wide-angle, lens that offers a field-of-view of 155 degrees. The Action 2’s aspheric lens allows for sharp edges and reduced image distortion.

The DJI Action 2 keeps the horizon level, like the GoPro Hero 10. It is dust-proof and waterproof up to 10 meters or about 30 feet.

Its magnetic design allows you to attach modular accessories like the Front Touchscreen Module and Power Module.

The Front Touchscreen Module has a front-facing OLED touchscreen and four microphones. It also extends the Action 2’s battery life to 160 minutes when recording.

Or you can attach a Power Module to extend the Action 2’s recording capabilities to 180 minutes. This module includes a microSD card slot as well.
