Over the weekend, DealsDrone shared this leaked image of supposedly new for the upcoming DJI Avata cinewhoop drone. There’s only one problem…

And that is that the leaked image of the DJI Goggles is clearly a fake.

The photo has been squeezed to create a more streamlined profile, similar to the Fat Shark FPV goggles. Furthermore, two antennas were added to create the look of something new. However, the people on Twitter didn’t fall for it. Almost immediately, the photo was called a fake.

On Twitter, Chillindrone added a de-squeezed photo of the DJI Goggles and put the original ones next to it for a good comparison.

In response to this article, DealsDrone said the following, indicating that the yet-to-be-released DJI Goggles for the DJI Avata will, in fact, look more streamlined and narrow.

DJI Avata release date

The DJI Avata is a new small DJI Cinewhoop drone. It is expected to be launched in July of this year.
