The Border Security Force (BSF) intercepted and shot down a DJI Matrice 300 RTK drone carrying over 4 Lbs. of narcotics near the International Border in Amritsar, India sector early this morning.

At approximately 2:20 am on April 27, BSF troops stationed near Dhanoe Kalan village in Amritsar district heard the buzzing sound of a suspected drone entering Indian territory, according to a BSF officer.

The troops acted swiftly, firing at and intercepting the drone. They also reported hearing the sound of a consignment being dropped in the fields on the outskirts of the village, according to The Tribune.

A subsequent search by the troops led to the discovery of a partially damaged quadcopter, identified as a DJI Matrice 300 RTK, along with a package containing two packets of heroin.
