DJI Air 3 production started already in May, hinting at a July launch

The highly-anticipated DJI Air 3 production began in May, according to a snapshot shared by DJI leaker, DealsDrone. The photo shows part of the retail box of a Fly More Combo with the new DJI RC 2 remote controller. This is a solid hint that the renowned Chinese drone manufacturer has been preparing for the imminent launch of this new dual-camera DJI drone.

High-resolution promotional images, which usually precede a new DJI drone's unveiling, have already made their way to the public. There's an air of expectancy as we await more detailed information on the DJI Air 3's dual camera setup and its overall specifications.

Although initially, there were whispers of a June 28th launch, all signs now point to a likely July release. DJI's usual pattern of releasing products towards summer's end or into the Q4 shopping spree is unlikely to apply in the case of the Air 3. Typically, media outlets such as DroneXL receive a short product presentation prior to the launch, a step that DJI has yet to take.

Given these indications, we are keeping our fingers crossed for a mid to late-July launch. Meanwhile, we'll keep an eye out for any further specifications and updates – we'll be sure to share the exciting details as we uncover them.
