Finally, DJI, the world’s leading drone manufacturer, has announced the upcoming release of a new drone called ‘NEO’. The company shared a teaser image and launch date on their official Twitter account and website, signaling an exciting development in the drone industry.

The cryptic announcement states “The Future Takes Shape” with a launch date set for September 5, 2024, at 9 AM EDT. DJI has provided a link for interested parties to get notified about the release, hinting at an exciting product unveiling.

NEO Drone Features

While official details are scarce, the teaser image reveals a sleek, curved design with the word “NEO” prominently displayed. The drone appears to feature green LED indicators, suggesting advanced flight control systems or status displays.

Of course, with all the leaked and discovered information about the DJI Neo over the last couple of weeks there really isn’t anything left to the imagination at this point.

Official pricing of the various packages and accessories would be nice to have. The DJI Neo Fly More Combo is expected to set you back $329, and the DJI Neo itself without a controller even might be priced around $199. Both prices have not been officially confirmed.

As with previous DJI product launches, this announcement will generate significant buzz in the drone community. The company’s track record of introducing cutting-edge technology and pushing the boundaries of consumer and professional drone capabilities has set high expectations for the NEO.
