DJI Mini 5 Pro Teaser Not Visible on US Version of DJI Website
We just noticed that the DJI Mini 5 Pro teaser and notification page is not available on the U.S. version of the DJI website. Unfortunately, we see this as an early indication that the DJI Mini 5 Pro will likely not be available for US drone pilot and enthusiasts.
BREAKING: DJI TEASES “OWN THE MOMENT” AHEAD OF OSMO NANO LAUNCH
DJI’s “Pro in Mini” teaser and notification page appear to be missing from the U.S. version of DJI’s website, an omission noticed today that arrives just ahead of the expected Mini 5 Pro launch window. The absence suggests DJI may not market or sell the Mini 5 Pro in the United States at launch, raising early concerns for American drone pilots and creators. The teaser is available on the Canadian version of the DJI website.
The significance is straightforward: when DJI promotes global product launches, U.S. website parity typically follows, even if inventory is staggered. A missing U.S. landing page this close to an event is an early indicator of restricted availability or delayed entry. While not definitive proof, it mirrors past patterns where product pages appeared in some regions but not in the U.S., foreshadowing limited access for American buyers at launch.
U.S. availability concerns
A teaser page gap on the U.S. site often tracks to product availability decisions, ranging from a delayed rollout to a full market exclusion. For American recreational pilots and working pros, this can complicate planning for upgrades, accessory purchases, and client commitments that anticipate immediate product access. If the Mini 5 Pro does skip the U.S. initially, secondary import routes could become the only short‑term option, typically with higher costs and limited support.
Impact on pilots and workflows
Potential non‑availability means creators may need to retain DJI Mini 4 Pro or step up to other, older series models, possibly sacrificing the sub‑250 g advantages central to operations near sensitive areas and under certain regulatory thresholds. Production teams that rely on unified fleets could face mixed‑platform complexity, from color profiles to flight batteries and transmitter compatibility, until official U.S. availability is clarified.
Regulatory and retail variables
U.S. retail absence could stem from regulatory, policy, or distribution decisions, or the U.S. Customs and Border Protection, none of which are confirmed. If this is a delay rather than a cancellation, U.S. listings may still appear after initial overseas sales begin. Until then, pricing in USD, warranty coverage, and service logistics would remain uncertain for U.S. customers contemplating gray‑market purchases.
DroneXL’s Take
If the DJI Mini 5 Pro truly bypasses the U.S. at launch, it would be a significant setback for American pilots who depend on sub‑250 g platforms for compliant, nimble, and high‑quality aerial work. The key questions now: Is this a temporary delay tied to certification or policy, or a longer‑term market decision? How should professionals plan fleet upgrades if timelines slip? Share observations—especially if a U.S. teaser page appears or retailer listings surface—in the comments.

Sucks to have a dipshit presitent don’t it LOL
Sucks not being able to spell…. lol
On the US page under Mini 4 Pro it lists a 1″ sensor.
The DJI Mini 4 Pro uses a 1/1.3-inch CMOS sensor, not a 1-inch sensor. https://www.dji.com/mini-4-pro/specs
https://store.dji.com/product/dji-mini-4-pro?from=store_homepage&vid=148581
lists a 1″ sensor, night flight etc
You’re right. Weird. Further down on the page the list the correct size. No body is perfect I guess. Did you point it out to DJI support?
I’m thinking they are halfway through switching the website to the Mini 5 Pro-or hoping at least.
I like that idea!
