Where To Buy DJI Neo 2 USA: Buy Now Before December 23 Deadline
Amazon Drone Deals: DJI Mini 5 Pro Fly More Combo with DJI RC2 now for $1,099!
Since I put out my first look video on the Neo 2, I’ve had a lot of people ask me the same two questions: Where can I buy one in the United States? And should I even buy a DJI drone right now with the potential ban looming on December 23rd?
The answer to both is yes. If you have the money for it, you should buy the DJI Neo 2 now. And yes, there are legitimate ways to get one in the United States right now.
Where To Buy The DJI Neo 2 In The United States
There are links in my video description from sellers that either already have the drones in the United States, like Drone Works, or from sellers on eBay who have shipped drones to many people I know. Those orders have arrived without problems and without surprise tariff fees.
I keep those links updated with wherever I can find the drones, so you have as many options as possible. Here’s what you need to understand about each option.
US-Based Sellers Like Drone Works
If you’re buying from a seller in the United States, understand that they paid significant tariff fees to bring those drones in. Their prices will be higher than what you’d pay overseas. But there are advantages.
These drones ship quickly from within the US. You won’t deal with customs delays or surprise fees at delivery. Some sellers, like Drone Works, even offer the ability to work with you on warranty repairs after the sale.
That last point matters because if you buy any of the new DJI drones right now, repairs in the United States aren’t technically supported. These drones haven’t officially been released here yet. You’re taking a bit of a gamble, and having a domestic seller willing to help with potential repairs provides valuable peace of mind.
I’ve purchased many of my own drones through Drone Works because they’ve shipped to me wherever I’ve been on the road during productions and jobs. I highly recommend them as a trusted seller.
eBay Sellers From South Korea
eBay is also a solid option. There are drones available from US-based sellers on the platform, plus drones shipping from South Korea.
A lot of my friends and people I know have ordered drones from South Korea on eBay. The link in my description is from a very trusted seller. All of those drones have come through customs with no problems and no extra tariff fees showing up at the end to surprise you.
If the Neo 2 becomes available on Amazon, B&H, or Adorama, I’ll update those links as well.
Should You Buy A DJI Drone Before December 23rd?
This is the bigger question everyone’s asking. With a potential ban deadline on December 23rd, should you even be buying DJI products right now?
My answer: Yes. If you have the money, buy now.
I don’t recommend going into debt for a drone. But if you have the budget and you’ve been looking at a certain DJI model, now is the time to pull the trigger.
Here’s the reality. If the ban goes through and no new products are approved, existing DJI products are still approved and still okay to use. Your drone won’t stop flying on December 24th. As Vic Moss from the Drone Service Providers Alliance recently explained, this is more accurately called a restriction than a ban.
But here’s what will change: It’s only going to become more and more difficult to buy DJI products in the United States. Many resellers won’t be able to sell them anymore. Supply will tighten. Prices will go up.
Stock Up On Accessories Now
If there’s a product you’ve been looking at, buy it now. And don’t stop there.
Buy the accessories now too. Stock up on extra batteries, propellers, and anything else you’ll need to keep flying for the next couple of years. These items will become increasingly difficult to find if the regulatory situation gets worse.
Hopefully, ideally, none of this happens. Maybe things even get a little easier to get DJI products in the United States. But preparing for the worst while hoping for the best is smart planning.
About The DJI Neo 2
If you’re specifically looking at the Neo 2, it’s an excellent drone. I covered it in detail in my first look video, but the short version is that DJI has made significant improvements over the original Neo.
The Neo 2 launched in Asia on October 30, 2025 with a larger 1/2-inch camera sensor, dual-axis gimbal stabilization, and comprehensive obstacle avoidance. It’s DJI’s most capable sub-250-gram drone yet, and it’s particularly impressive as a follow-me drone that doesn’t require a controller.
The drone hasn’t officially launched in the US, which is why you’re dealing with these alternative buying options. But for those willing to work through the process, it’s absolutely worth it.
A Note On Affiliate Links
If you buy through eBay, Amazon, B&H, or Adorama using my links, I do receive affiliate commissions. That’s no extra cost to you. Drone Works is not an affiliate relationship. I recommend them because I’ve had great personal experiences buying from them.
If you want to support this channel while getting a great drone, using those links is a simple way to do it.
