DJI Osmo Pocket 4 Leaks in Plain Sight

It finally happened. Not a blurry warehouse shot. Not a shadowy reflection in a Weibo comment section. We just got what might be the most polite leak in DJI history: the actual Quick Start Guide of the DJI Osmo Pocket 4.
Yes, the manual.
Courtesy of Quadro_News on X, who once again proves he has a sixth sense for unopened boxes somewhere in Asia.
And honestly, if you want to leak something convincingly, leak the paperwork. Nobody fakes paperwork. That is commitment.
The Manual Looksโฆ Very Real
The document clearly says โDJI Osmo Pocket 4โ. No โProโ. No โLiteโ. No โCinematic Extreme Creator Ultra Editionโ. Just clean, confident branding. DJI seems to be channeling minimalist energy here.
The guide is labeled for the Creator Combo and marked version 1.0. It includes bilingual English and Chinese text, QR codes for DJI Support, product verification barcodes, and that unmistakable DJI layout that whispers, โWe charge premium for a reason.โ
We cross checked the images. We inspected the typography. We looked at compression artifacts. We even ran it through AI analysis. The conclusion: this looks authentic. Not AI generated. Not Photoshop cosplay. Just a real manual that probably escaped early retail stock in Asia.
And when manuals leak, launches are usually close.
March 26 Might Be the Day
Based on the latest reports, the expected mainland China announcement is now March 26, 2026. Previously, March 20 was floating around, but that date seems to have shifted.
If DJI follows its usual playbook, we could see global availability one or two weeks later. Mid April feels realistic. The FCC registration has already surfaced in the United States, which is often the regulatory breadcrumb trail that leads straight to a launch event.
So yes. The Pocket 4 might be only weeks away from leaving rumor territory and entering your camera bag.
What the Rumors Say About Specs
Now letโs talk about the fun stuff.
The standard model is rumored to feature a 1-inch equivalent CMOS sensor. Just like the one in the DJI Mini 5 Pro and AIR 3S drones. That alone is enough to make current Pocket owners start checking resale values.
4K at 120 frames per second in 10 bit D Log M? That is not casual vacation footage. That is โI color grade my lunchโ energy.
There is also mention of a new Super Photo mode capable of 33 megapixel stills. DJI clearly wants this tiny gimbal camera to punch above its weight class.
Other rumored highlights include:
- Advanced 3 axis gimbal with full pixel fast focus
- AI tracking for faces and objects
- A brighter 2-inch rotatable OLED touchscreen with higher refresh rate and even higher bragging rights
- Dedicated zoom button
- Customizable C-button
- Extended stem for better grip
- Optional LED fill light
- WiFi 6 connectivity
- Around 179 grams total weight
If true, this is less โpocket toyโ and more โmicro production studio.โ
Battery life is rumored to exceed 200 minutes. If that number holds, the Pocket 4 might outlast your creative motivation.
YouTube live streaming support is also mentioned, along with tighter app ecosystem integration. DJI is clearly leaning into creators who want speed, portability, and minimal setup friction.
Creator Combo Means Business
The manual specifically references the Creator Combo, or ๅ จ่ฝๅฅ่ฃ in Chinese.
Historically, this bundle usually includes accessories that turn a small camera into a content machine. The rumored package may feature:
- Battery handle
- Mini tripod
- Carrying case
- DJI Mic 3 or Mic Mini in the box (just the mics, not the receiver)
There are also whispers of other kits like an Standard, and an All Around Set.
In other words, DJI might be building an ecosystem around the Pocket 4 rather than just selling a standalone camera.
And that makes sense. The content creator market is not slowing down. It is evolving into a portable, fast turnaround, vertical friendly battlefield.
DroneXL’s Take
Letโs be clear. None of this is official. These are rumors. Leaks. Educated guesses wrapped in bilingual paperwork.
But here is the interesting part.
The unedited images look authentic. The formatting aligns with DJIโs design language. The QR codes and layout feel consistent. And early retail documentation leaking often signals inventory is already staged somewhere in Asia.
If you add all this, the result we will get is: WE ARE CLOSE TO THE LAUNCH DATE
Which means this is not vaporware. This is probably sitting in boxes, waiting for a keynote slide.
If DJI delivers on the rumored specs, the Osmo Pocket 4 could quietly become one of the most powerful ultra portable cameras on the market. A 1-inch sensor, 4K 120fps (and maybe 240 in the PRO version), 10-bit color, improved screen, better ergonomics, longer battery life. That is a serious upgrade path.
Now we wait.
As always, do not treat this as confirmed until DJI officially announces it and we get our hands on the actual unit. Rumors are fun. Manuals are convincing. But only real world testing tells the truth.
Still, if the manual is already out in the wild, the camera cannot be far behind.
And if Quadro is right again, March might get very interesting.
