Exclusive DJI Mavic 4 Pro Final Product Image Leaked On Chinese Social Media

A good Chinese friend of mine named YueYue got his hands on what appears to be the final product image of the Pro. The high resolution image of the upcoming DJI drone with dark grey background, displays the unreleased DJI Mavic 4 Pro in his final form and in his full glory indicating the drone is ready to launch its way in the . Let’s break this new image down together.

Continuing DJI leaks

We have all seen the multiple blurry mobile photographs and videos of the Mavic 4 Pro in beta test (covered with white stickers) on the streets near DJI Headquarters in Shenzhen, . And to be honest, those pictures almost felt staged, almost like these DJI employees were inviting people to ‘accidentally’ see the Mavic 4’s urban tests.

While DJI never openly responds to these photographs, they still seem to believe their system is watertight. But let’s not forget that on previous products like the и the leaks literally kept poring out of all reseller webshops and communication systems of DJI. So many features, specs, and product photos were leaked in the weeks before launch and if you ask me it will happen again with the DJI Mavic 4.

Will this final product image be the start of all those leaked, official images? Guess we will find out in upcoming weeks, because the launch is rumored to be on the 20th of April.

Zooming In On Some DJI Mavic 4 Pro Details

This leaked exclusive image of the DJI Mavic 4 Pro drone gives us a perfect view on some new little details. Let’s break them down one by one:

  • The new Mavic 4 received an all new Aerodynamic Propeller design. DJI decided to add a little easy release disk on top also providing better airflow and preventing dust and rain reaching the motors. It is rumored the Mavic 4 will get around 50 min of flight time.
  • Hiding behind the left propeller, we now.know there might be some form of hidden in the left arm. Like we revealed previously here on DroneXL.
  • Hiding behind the right propeller, we see the letters PRO appearing in white. Confirming this new design is called the Mavic 4 Pro and not the Cine version.
  • Beneath the branded camera, we can see a tiny centered foot below the al new designed camera. The new aerodynamic design of the M4P forced the designers to also add new rubber bumps on all arms and the previously mentioned tiny rubber foot in the center.

What DJI Rumors Can We Expect Next?

Although multiple specifications on the Mavic 4 drone have been rumored, I don’t really like to give them a lot of attention until we see a leaked official box or some official specs sheet from a DJI representative. I promise to go through them once we can confirm by the inevitable upcoming visual proof.

Oh and before I forget, word on the streets is that the Mavic 4 might be ‘turning heads’ a lot more than you think is necessary… More on that in my next article here on DroneXL, I’ll be back in two days.

Cheers! Jasper

  1. I can’t see any forward facing sensor because of the new head design, so probably the built-in leg sensor will take over this task… we’ll see how it works. I am most curious about the 24mm vs 28mm Main camera debate. Also wonder why they still keeping the 168mm-ish x7 camera… which really is not making too much of use. I use it max 5% of my shots on my M3Pro. A better quality, smaller focal length cam would be much more useful.

  2. Curious about the “Turning heads” teaser. If I’m right, it could be a refence to a 4th axis on the gimbal, for the purpose of rotation of all 3 cameras to portrait orientation. Which would also tie-in the “more than necessary” because, like a 7x/168mm equivalent focal length professional drone pilots are a group that is least likely to want such a feature. I literally never use it on Mini 4 Pro, nor use the non-mechanical design on Air3/3S that crops the sensor in to a vertical format.
