Over the last two weeks, we have seen a number of murals saying “Black Lives Matter” appear. The first one we reported on was on the streets Washington, D.C., but since then we have seen more of them appear across the country in cities like Seattle and Brooklyn. This drone video shows the latest one which is being created on the streets of Birmingham, Alabama.
Black Lives Matter mural appears on the streets in Birmingham, Alabama
As you can see in the drone video and photo, the mural is not quite ready yet, but it is expected to be finished before the upcoming Juneteenth holiday on Friday. The yellow “Black Lives Matter” mural is created on 1st Avenue South between 16th Street and 17th Street near Railroad Park in Birmingham, Alabama, similar to art done in Washington, D.C. earlier this month.
