DJI Fly app update 1.1.8 shows remaining storage space on MicroSD card

DJI updated the DJI Fly app over the weekend. The latest update brings the app to version 1.1.8 and it now shows the remaining storage space left on your MicroSD card either in GB’s or in recording-time-left.

Update: DJI just made a newer version of the app available on the Apple App Store called version 1.1.9 with the same update information. It seems that there were some bugs left.

DJI Fly app update 1.1.8 – Now shows remaining storage space on MicroSD card

Over the weekend DJI updated the DJI Fly app to version 1.1.8. With the latest update, the app now shows you home much more recording time is left on your MicroSD card or if you prefer how many GBs are left for recording purposes.

As you can see in the video from PhillyDroneLife, the new information is displayed in the lower right-hand corner of the screen. You can switch between showing the recording-time-left and GBs left on your MicroSD card by simply tapping on the screen.

With this update, DJI also fixed a number of bugs that could cause the app to crash and improved the overall app stability.

While this is a minor update to the DJI Fly app, it does show that the Chinese dronemaker is committed to continuously improving the application.

The DJI Fly app is currently used to control the DJI Mavic Mini and the DJI Mavic Air 2 drones.

You can download the latest version of the DJI Fly app on the Apple app Store or the Google Play Store.
