Long flight time, long-range
The fixed-wing systems of C-Astral are characterized by a long flight time and a long-range. As a result, the aircraft can be used for lengthy inspection flights, mapping large areas of the ground, border surveillance, firefighting, and a variety of surveillance operations.
C-Astral develops various systems, each tailored to specific applications. For example, the BRAMOR C4EYE is well suited for surveillance purposes and rescue missions. To this end, the drone can be equipped with various payloads, such as a combined RGB + thermal imaging camera with 40x zoom, of which 20x optical. Another payload option is the NSX Search & Rescue payload, which can be used to track missing people's mobile phones.
Another system from the C-Astral range is the BRAMOR ppX. This drone was specifically developed for mapping and surveying. The system offers up to three hours of flight time and provides GNSS PPK for centimeter-accurate results. In addition to the possibility to create RGB images, the system can also be equipped with a multi-spectral sensor for agricultural purposes. Another option is the GasFinder gas sensor, with which gas leaks can be traced.
A third fixed-wing aircraft from C-Astral's range is the ATLAS C4EYE. This is a smaller system, which can be launched and operated by one person. The flight time is a maximum of 90 minutes. Thanks to the minimal noise production and the RGB / IR zoom camera, this drone is ideal for security and reconnaissance applications.
C-Astral and Skytools expand in the EU
Currently, C-Astral's systems are deployed worldwide by more than 200 commercial and scientific operators. The company wants to further expand the European sales market through the collaboration with Skytools. The distributorship follows the investments Terra Drone previously made in C-Astral and Skytools.
In order to deploy C-Astral's systems in EU Countries, Skytools is working with its customers on the implementation of the new European rules and regulations of EASA (European Union Aviation Safety Agency) in order to speed up the implementation of BVLOS (Beyond Visual Line of Sight) and night flights.
C-Astral's drones and payloads can be purchased or rented through Skytools.
