Dutch aerial photographer Tom van Oossanen captured footage of the superyacht ‘Viva’ as it was making its way through the very narrow canals in Holland.

Tom followed the ship as it left the shipyard on Kaag Island as made its way to the North Sea through the cities of Gouda and Rotterdam. Ultimately, Viva will end up in Amsterdam for sea trials.

The 308-feet long superyacht, referred to as Project 817, was built by the Dutch company Feadship. According to Tom, four to six finished superyachts are transferred to sea along this route every year.

He adds that: “It is always quite an operation, and everyone loves it. Everyone loves to see it. Unless you’re stuck at one of these bridges on your way to a dentist appointment, then you are not going to make it.”
