DJI Mini SE shows up in FCC filings, confirming US launch
Not too long ago we told you that the DJI Mini SE will almost certainly be introduced in the US on July 15th, 2021. Then we heard from Ti Xie, DJI's Public Relations Director who said that the drone maker had “currently no plans to sell this product in the US or Europe.” However, today we see that the DJI Mini SE shows up in the FCC filings, indicating an imminent launch. Surprise, surprise!
DJI Mini SE shows up in FCC filings
On June 16th, we reported that the DJI Mini SE would almost certainly show up in stores in the US, on July 15th for a retail price of $299.
However, when we spoke with Ti Xie, the Public Relations Director at DJI, he assured us that:
“The Mini SE will only be offered in Russia, Southeast Asian Countries, and South American countries.”
And that:
“There are currently no plans to sell this product in the US or Europe (apart from Russia).”
However, we are glad to report that the DJI Mini SE showed up in the FCC filings today, making an introduction to the US market imminent.
