DJI Mavic 3 spotted in the wild, airborne

This morning, we received this photo from one of our readers. It shows the new DJI Mavic 3 flying in front of a tree. In the background, we see a fence and what looks like the side of a building.

It is hard to see a lot of detail in the photo but when you zoom in you can make out the new DJI Mavic 3.

The Mavic 3 looks beefier and more aerodynamic. The increase in size would be likely explained by the increased battery size to provide the 46-minute flight time of the DJI Mavic 3 we learned about yesterday.

The propellers, motors, and legs of the drone look larger as well compared to the outgoing DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom. In the front, we can see the newly designed obstacle avoidance sensors. The drone features a larger camera by the looks of it although the low resolution makes it hard to see the new dual-camera setup.

Towards the back of the body, we see double air intakes at the top and bottom.

While it is hard to extract a lot of detail out of this low-res photo, The fact that the DJI Mavic 3 was spotted in the wild is very exciting indeed! We expect to be able to share more photos with you soon! Stay tuned.
