Insta360 Sphere for DJI Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S drones

This week, Insta360 launched a new camera, the Insta360 Sphere. This is an invisible drone 360-degree drone camera for the DJI Mavic Air 2 and Air 2S drones.

With the camera connected, the drone is completely undetectable in 360-degree video, and the lightweight construction and simple operation make 360-degree aerial filmmaking simpler than before.

“Insta360 Sphere offers immersive footage, without the need to buy a new drone or have professional flying or editing skills,” the company said in a press release. “Powered by Insta360’s industry-leading software, Sphere unlocks endless ways to create killer content from drone footage.”

Create immersive shots easily with the Insta360 Sphere

With the Insta360 Sphere mounted to their DJI drone, you can get immersive shots very easily. Users may modify the angle and camera orientation of their movie after the fact by capturing it in 5.7K 360. Anyone can add exhilarating rolls and spins to their aerial film in post using the simple reframing features in the Insta360 app and Studio desktop, delivering FPV-like footage on an easy-to-handle drone.

The Insta360 Sphere’s camera lenses are carefully positioned on each side of the drone to guarantee that the drone is completely undetectable in the resultant video. Dynamic stitching makes the whole drone vanish, even its propellers, leaving users with stunning, unbroken images.

Aerial film can only be really immersive if it is stabilized perfectly. When it comes to stabilizing aerial imagery, Insta360’s FlowState Stabilization technology has been optimized for Insta360 Sphere.

With an ultra-secure locking mechanism, the camera mounts securely to the Mavic Air 2/2S. The drone’s structural integrity is unaffected, and the GPS signal and remote control system are unaffected as well.

Since its inception in 2011, the goal of Insta360 has been to make it easier for individuals to record and share their lives in 360, and Sphere is a continuation of this effort. For Sphere users, the Insta360 ONE Series’s AI-powered editing tools are available via the Insta360 app. With only a few taps, you can create effects like barrel rolls and dolly zooms.
