Advanced Features of the DJI Agras T60

DJI has announced the Agras T60, a new addition to its agricultural drone lineup, set to revolutionize farming practices. The T60 represents a significant upgrade over its predecessor, the Agras T40. Its enhanced 60kg payload capacity is supported by a robust flight control system and powerful 14028/95KV motors, ensuring 33% more single-axis pulling force.

Innovative Propulsion and Power Systems

The DJI Agras T60 reportedly features new high-power Electronic Speed Controllers (ESCs) capable of handling 350 amps during operation. This is powered by the newly introduced DB2100 intelligent flight battery, boasting a 40Ah capacity and a lifespan of 1500 cycles.

Charging these batteries is efficient with the C10000P smart charger, offering 9000W fast charging capabilities. Additionally, DJI’s D12500i generator can charge the batteries in just 10 minutes.

NGDrone just shared the following photos of the DJI Argas T60 agricultural drone on X/Twitter.

Enhanced Spraying and Spreading Systems

The T60’s spraying system can deliver a flow rate of 18 liters per minute, with a standard 50-liter tank, expandable to 60 liters. The dual-nozzle configuration, upgradeable to a four-nozzle model, caters to diverse agricultural needs, including fruit trees. The spreading system, capable of handling a variety of materials, offers a maximum flow rate of 190kg/min and a spreading width of 8 meters.

Cutting-Edge Security and Vision Systems

Equipped with DJI’s latest Security System 3.0, the Agras T60 boasts a radar capable of detecting obstacles up to 60 meters away. This includes the ability to identify telephone poles, trees, and even diagonal cables in some environments. A novel fisheye FPV camera, enhanced with stabilization algorithms, allows for virtual gimbal-like movement, providing comprehensive low-light capture with a 75W lighting system.

User-Friendly Design and Remote Control

For ease of use, the Agras T60 is equipped with DJI’s RC Plus remote, featuring a large 7-inch display and backlit buttons for nighttime operations. The drone’s O4 transmission system ensures reliable connectivity, even in complex operations using 4G.

DJI Arigas T60 Packages and Availability

Currently available only in China, the Agras T60 comes in two packages: the Flagship Package, priced at approximately $8,200, and the Standard Package, around $7,800. Each package includes the T60 drone, RC Plus controller, RTK module, spreading system, and two batteries, with the choice of a generator/charger or a charger alone.
