Improved Performance and Features

The Arrowhead ’24 drone offers a significant upgrade in performance compared to the original model. CEO Duncan Mulgrew highlights the ease of use, with training taking only five to six minutes instead of hours. The streamlined manufacturing process allows for increased production capacity.

Key features of the Arrowhead ’24 include:

  • Mesh-capable digital radio link
  • Support for 320p/640p thermal cameras
  • Extended flight time of over 18 minutes
  • Enhanced indoor/GPS-denied position hold
  • Upgraded LED floodlights
  • Onboard module bay and expansion connector for future capabilities

Seamless Integration with Other Products

Arrowhead ’24 is designed to work seamlessly with Uniform Sierra Aerospace’s other products, such as the Panther drone, which is intended for outdoor use by first responders and in search-and-rescue operations.

Mulgrew explains, “The Arrowhead ’24 radio can talk to Panther, which can talk to a ground station. […] Panther can be used as an airborne relay to improve signal penetration into buildings for Arrowhead.”

NDAA Compliance and American-Made

All Uniform Sierra Aerospace aircraft models, including the Arrowhead ’24, are National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) compliant and assembled in the company’s production facility at the Purdue Technology Center. This compliance ensures the security of the systems and supply chain, avoiding components from countries that could lead to bans in states like Florida. Mulgrew emphasizes the benefits of working with American and European suppliers, resulting in faster and more consistent production.

The launch of the Arrowhead ’24 drone marks another milestone for Uniform Sierra Aerospace in providing cutting-edge, American-built drone systems to public safety and government agencies. With its improved performance, seamless integration, and NDAA compliance, the Arrowhead ’24 is poised to become a valuable tool for those who need it most.
