For Prime Day this year, DJI decided to discount the DJI Mavic Mini Fly More Combo. You can pick this really cool, small drone up for $399, instead of $499. This drone weighs only 249 grams, making it very easy to take with you on your travels.

Another massive benefit of this mini drone is that as long as you use it recreationally in the U.S. you do not need to register it with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). If you fly this drone commercially, you do. In some other countries, Canada for example, a drone this lightweight exempts you from certain rules and regulations, making it easier for many people to get into flying drones.

Apart from Amazon Prime Day, it seems that DJI is also clearing out its Mavic Mini inventory ahead of the launch of its new drone the DJI Mavic Mini 2.
