After we first reported on the arrival of the new DJI Mavic Mini 2, there has been a slow but steady trickle of rumors and indications that the new unmanned aircraft from the Chinese drone maker is due to arrive on November 5th.

Today, we can share with you the latest indication of the DJI Mavic Mini 2’s imminent arrival as the Chinese website BiliBili mentions the new mini drone in its terms and conditions of its fall promotion.

BiliBili refers to the new drone as the DJI Mini 2, which might be an indication that DJI has decided to shorten the name just like it did with the OM4, RS2, and RSC2. However, we doubt that DJI will drop the name Mavic for this new small drone. We expect DJI to launch the sub-250-gram drone as the DJI Mavic Mini 2.

In the promotion image, it seems that the character on the right is holding on to a DJI Pocket 2, however, the drone on the left side is not a DJI Mavic Mini 2. It looks much more like the original Autel EVO I.
