Since the announcement of the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced we have been wondering how much it would cost. Well, today we can confirm that this commercial drone with a high-resolution thermal camera is priced at $6,240.

The DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced was introduced on December 15, 2020, and offers some very unique and competitive features. The DJI drone that is geared towards the enterprise and customers features a 32x zoom capability with the regular RGB camera which has a 1/2″ CMOS sensor and is capable of taking 48MP stills and 4K video.

The Advanced also features a thermal camera with an HD resolution of 640 × 512 px, a 30Hz frame rate, and allows ±2°C temperature measurement accuracy. Drone operators can switch between visual, thermal, or split-view feeds.

An additional RTK unit can be mounted to the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced for centimeter-level positioning accuracy. The drone can also be outfitted with a , speaker, or beacon and is compatible with the .

Now, you would probably agree with me that this drone makes for a very capable aerial platform and thus would likely be very expensive. Well, no. You can order the for $6,240 before taxes and without the RTK unit. This makes the drone more expensive than the original DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Dual, but less expensive than the Autel Robotics EVO II Dual (around $10,000) or some of the Blue sUAS drones such as the Skydio X2, which is over $20,000.

It is important to point out that the and the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced contain parts made in , but so do the drones from , , and as far as we know all the other models.

How much does the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced cost?

With the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced priced at $6,240, I suspect DJI has another winner on its hands and they will sell like hotcakes. The pricing of the DJI Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced has been confirmed to DroneXL by multiple DJI dealers.
