Last call for Mavic 2 Pro orders indicates DJI Mavic 3 will be released soon

According to our exclusive DJI insider Mr. D., DJI has sent out the last call to official dealers and authorized resellers to place orders for the drones. Our source tells us that this is a sure sign that the will arrive soon as the M2P that was launched in the summer of 2018 fades out. Maybe as soon as this summer.

“DJI has sent out a last call notification to dealers for the M2P. Guess what that means? Right on track for late August / early September release,” Mr. D. said.

This lines up with information we had received earlier about a possible DJI Mavic 3 release in the summer of 2021.

Especially with the release of the DJI Air 2S with the 1-inch sensor and higher resolution (5.4K) and higher bitrate (150 Mpbs) video recording, DJI has heated up the competition for its flagship drone the DJI Mavic 2 Pro. There are only a few reasons, why anybody should pick the DJI Mavic 2 Pro over the new and less expensive . And for a number of people, such as even those reasons are not enough to stop them from preferring the DJI Air 2S over the M2P.

So yes, we agree with Mr. D. that the release of the DJI Mavic 3 later this summer seems very likely. If any new information or rumors pop up, we will be sure to post them here on DroneXL.co so stay tuned!
