2 Parrot Anafi USA drones donated to Ukraine
Although several DJI Mini 2 drones and Autel EVO II drones have been delivered to Ukraine, this photo represents the first time that two Parrot Anafi USA Blue sUAS have been given to Ukraine.
The Parrot Anafi USA is an unmanned aircraft from the French drone maker Parrot that is assembled right here in the US in order to meet the Blue sUAS standards.
Two Parrot Anafi USA drones have now been donated to the Ukrainian Defense Forces to help in the fight against the Russian invaders.
“Ukrainians and friends from all over the world keep making us good surprises. The Aerorozvidka received two wonderful American drones Parrot.”

While DJI drones are very capable, affordable, and easy to get, flying them is not entirely without danger as their location, as well as the pilot’s position, can easily be monitored with the help of the DJI Aeroscope drone detection systems that are employed by both the Russian and Ukrainian military.
This is not to say that flying any other sort of drone is entirely risk-free, as radio transmissions may be easily intercepted by the enemy.
However, one commenter on Twitter was glad to see that Aerorozvidka now possesses some non-China-made drones.
“Good to see you guys finally have some safe non-China-made drone, despite your statement about the safety of them, China is still not a friend to Ukraine and are in bed with the Russians, they will definitely try their best to undermine you, be careful and stay save. Slava Ukraini!” said Chee Ze Hao.
