Rohde & Schwarz Launches Budget-Friendly Counter-Drone System ARDRONIS Detect

Rohde & Schwarz has just unveiled their latest counter-drone solution, ARDRONIS Detect, aimed at making drone detection more accessible and affordable, according to an announcement from the company.
Advanced Detection Capabilities
The systemโs got some impressive tech under the hood. It can pick up various drone signals, including FHSS (frequency-hopping spread spectrum) and both analog and digital video signals. Thatโs pretty crucial when youโre trying to spot different types of drones in your airspace.
User-Friendly Integration
Whatโs really cool about ARDRONIS Detect is how it plays nice with other systems. It runs through their ARDRONIS Control Center software, which theyโve made super user-friendly for scanning and monitoring drone signals. He says itโs โa game-changing counter drone solution that offers advanced detection and identification capabilities.โ The systemโs flexibility is a big selling point โ you can set it up as a fixed installation or use it on the move.

According to Steinwandt, theyโve made sure itโll work for all sorts of scenarios: โIt is highly versatile and can be deployed in various settings, including fixed, semi-mobile, and mobile configurations.โ Heโs particularly keen on how easily it integrates with existing infrastructure, making it perfect for defense, security, and protecting critical facilities.
