DJI will launch the Osmo Pocket 4P in Pearl White on October 20, 2026, at 12 PM GMT (8 AM EDT). The company posted a 14-second teaser to its main YouTube channel this morning, titled “See More. Tell More.”, that calls the camera a “Dual-Lens Cinematic Pocket Gimbal Camera” and says the white model is “coming soon.” The clip shows a woman holding the white 4P out toward the lens on a city street.

The color is not new. DJI named Pearl White alongside classic black when the 4P launched worldwide on July 30, and outside China, October 20 puts the white model’s launch 82 days behind the black one. The teaser’s “Notify me” link points at DJI’s global teaser page. Opened from the United States this morning, that link redirected to DJI’s US site and stopped on a page reading “Sorry, the page was not found.”

Pearl White Went On Sale In China On September 16 With A Mica Coating

China got the white 4P first. IT Home reported DJI opened Pearl White sales there at 8 PM on September 16, at 3,799 yuan for the Standard Combo, the price DJI set for black in June. The grip and gimbal shell carry a custom pearlescent coating built on mica pigment.

IT Home says it goes on in several coats and bakes, shows no metallic sparkle, and shifts tone with the light and the viewing angle instead of reading as flat white. It also resists fingerprints and stains, according to the same report. Nothing inside changes. The white 4P keeps the 1-inch 20mm wide camera, the 60mm telephoto, the 4K/240fps slow motion and the 103GB of built-in storage DroneXL documented at the China launch on June 15.

The white unit had been in public for months before any of this. Notebookcheck reported it on June 2 from DJI’s “Light and Shadow 12 Years” event in Beijing. On July 30, CineD reported that “only the black version is available from day one,” with Pearl White to follow later. Today’s video is the first global date DJI has given. It carries no price, and the black Standard Combo launched at £529 / €599, with the Vlog Combo at £605 / €689.

The teaser link’s dead end matches the rest of DJI’s US site, which returns the same 404 for the Osmo Pocket 4P and Pocket 4 product pages. The Pocket 3 page loads normally, because that camera kept the FCC authorization it held before DJI landed on the Covered List.

The link in the teaser’s description is tagged for DJI’s global campaign, and DroneXL followed it with a plain request and a full browser this morning. Both ended on the same US error page.

DJI has been on that list since December 22, 2025, which keeps new DJI hardware from the equipment authorization it needs for legal US sale. The Osmo Pocket 4 launched in April with no US price, and the 4P skipped the US again in July. Americans who want either camera have been buying through third-party sellers on Amazon. On July 29 DroneXL found the black 4P listed there at $980 from an importer, with a brand field that read SECUREX and a note that the unit had been activated before export.

DroneXL’s Take

I expect the white Pocket 4P to reach American buyers the way the black one did, through an importer charging a premium with no DJI warranty behind it. Both Pocket 4 models went that route this year, and a new color does nothing to the Covered List math. DJI is also in a Texas courtroom over the same US market. It sued Insta360 on June 11, claiming the Luna Pro and Luna Ultra copy the Osmo Pocket, and the Luna Ultra is the dual-lens pocket gimbal Americans can buy from a US retailer. DJI is paying lawyers to protect a US market it cannot sell its new Pockets into, and the Covered List is the reason.
