DJI Go 4 app receives an update but no new features

On the iOS app store, you can see the version history of the Go 4 app. This latest update is version 4.3.42 and it “fixes crashing issues and improves app stability.”

All recent DJI drones, such as the DJI Mavic Air 2, and the DJI Mini 2 work with the new . Only older drone models like the DJI Mavic 2 Pro/Zoom, Phantom 4 Pro, and others still use the .

  • “…The lack of new features for the DJI Go 4 app is a clear indication that the app is on its way out.”
the Fly app is intended for the dji consumer drones, Its a reduced, more clean version of the Go 4 app. Saying that Go4 app is on its way out is like
saying that there will be no prosumer drones on the future. There will be a Mavic 3 and an Inspire 3 that probably will use DJI Go 4 app.
