DJI hints at 4K at 60fps for DJI FPV drone in new teaser video

It becomes clear that the soon-to-be-released DJI FPV drone is not just meant to be a first-person-view racer drone, or an unmanned aircraft meant to get people into FPV drone flying. No, in this latest DJI FPV drone teaser video, the world’s largest drone maker prominently shows the 4K, 60p text that is displayed on the side of the lens, indicating that we can expect serious video quality to come from this soon-to-be-released fpv drone.

Unfortunately, we have yet to find any information about the bit rate for the DJI FPV drone. As you may remember, the low bit rate on the original DJI Mavic Mini was one of the things that needed to be improved, said Frank Wang for the release of the DJI Mini 2. And it was. The DJI Mini 2 had a video bit rate of 100 Mbps, significantly increasing the video footage quality from that little drone.

While we do not know what the official bit rate for the DJI FPV drone will be, we assume it will at least be 100 Mbps as it would hard to imagine that Frank Wang would approve of anything less while promoting the 4K 60p video recording capabilities for this new drone.

What do you think the bit rate will be for the DJI FPV drone? Let us know in the comments below.
