DJI Air 2S promo video appears ahead of launch

The upcoming release of the DJI Air 2S has to be the worst product launch we have seen from DJI (or is it?). Almost all product launches are accompanied by leaked photos and rumors, but with the introduction of the successor of the DJI Mavic Air 2, it seems that no stone is left unturned. Today we are able to share with you the DJI Air 2S promo video.

This Promotion video provides us with some additional information that we did not yet get from the DJI Air 2S instruction manual. I have taken some screenshots to point out what DJI believes are the strongest selling points of the DJI Air 2S with its 1-inch sensor.

The DJI Air 2S will have the latest version of DJI's obstacle avoidance system, called APAS 4.0

The DJI Air 2S will feature 5.4K video recording capabilities at 30 fps. This is great for cropping in post-production and still allows you to output 4K video.

The high-resolution video recording capabilities of the DJI Air 2S allows for 8x digital zoom.

DJI's Ocusync 3.0, now called O3, allows for a range of up to 12km.

The DJI Air 2S 1-inch sensor in combination with 10-bits D-Log video recording should provide excellent video footage in low light conditions, blowing the DJI Mavic 2 Pro out of the water.

The DJI Air 2S will come with ActiveTrack 4.0 and obstacle avoidance in four directions for smooth video recordings while not flying into obstacles. Obstacle avoidance in all six directions will likely be reserved for the DJI Mavic 3.
