Pre-orders for 's professional drone product, the Sony Airpeak S1, commenced in late 2021. The drone and Gremsy Gimbal T3 package are now available in 2022. The Sony Airpeak S1 will cost you $11,200, and you still have to bring your own Sony A7 Series camera!

The Airpeak S1 is a drone that is designed to provide you with all you need for aerial photography and filmmaking using your Sony Alpha camera gear or a lightweight Sony FX3 rig.

The Sony Airpeak S1 drone has a top speed of 55.9 miles per hour, a 0 to 50 mph time of 3.5 seconds, and can fly and endure gusts of up to 44 miles per hour.

With the Gremsy Gimbal T3 for Airpeak, you can connect a variety of Alpha series mirrorless cameras, such as the Sony A7R IV or the FX3 full-frame movie camera, and outfit them with your compatible lens of choice.

The Gremsy Gimbal T3 attaches to the Airpeak S1 through a fast release mechanism and provides 345° panning and 120° tilt adjustment.

The Sony Airpeak S1 can be flown by one or two pilots. With a second operator, one can control the drone while the other person controls the camera and gimbal. Alternatively, the Airpeak S1 can fly a predefined path.

The Airpeak Flight iOS/iPadOS mobile app together with the Airpeak Base cloud-based web software gives you full control over the unmanned aircraft.

Besides the regular controls to fly the drone, the remote controller has four additional buttons that can be customized to the pilot's preferences.

A mobile device holder on the remote can be opened up to 7″ to fit an iPhone or iPad, and you can utilize the built-in HDMI connector to feed video to an external monitor to enable for external drone footage monitoring by a product team.
