The latest DJI firmware update for the DJI Mavic 3 and the DJI RC Pro also makes it possible to adjust the right dial so that you can use it to adjust ISO, for instance.

When DJI switched from the DJI Go 4 app to the DJI Fly app with the introduction of the DJI Mavic Mini, many drone pilots complained that the then-new app was too simple. Many more advanced features were missing from the app.

Over the last few years, DJI has repeatedly updated the DJI Fly app. The company also updated the drones and remote controllers with new models and through continued firmware updates. Perhaps, most infamously so with the launch of the DJI Mavic 3 last year.

All the app updates and firmware updates have provided more requested features.

For instance, recently, Philip Bloom announced that DJI told him that an adjustable speed Cine Mode will be made available to replace the missing Tripod Mode.

With the latest DJI Mavic 3 firmware update, the DJI RC Pro also received an update.

The DJI RC Pro now features “more custom functions being available for buttons and dials along with a few minor bugs being squashed,” according to DJI.

DroneXL reader, Chris Colton shared a photo of his now updated DJI RC Pro showing us that you can indeed now change the settings for the right dial and set it to control the ISO, for instance.
